Friday Fill-Ins #80

Friday Fill-Ins

1. Oh, I can’t wait until I have my own book published.

2. Scary science projects gone awry are the first thing I see when I open my refrigerator.

3. I never leave home without a book and writing tablet in my purse.

4. If I were a condiment, I would be cheese doodle because I am silly, cheesy and fun to have around.

5. Picking and clicking and biting one’s nails is really high up on my list of pet peeves.

6. The last thing I thought of before I went to bed was “Sex Storms” in Middleton is a literary imagine I could have lived a lifetime without.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to finishing up Rant and posting a review, tomorrow my plans include reading, and hopefully finishing, The White Mary and posting a review and Sunday, I want to read Sana Krasikov’s One More Year!

  2. Good luck on getting your book published 🙂 What will it be about?

  3. nice answer on #4 🙂 Hope you’ll be able to achieve your #1

  4. Yikes!!! you may need to put a box of Arm and Hammer in there 😉

Good luck on the book and thanks for the visit!

  5. The book I’ve been working on is about a girl named Piper, who mysteriously survives a horrific car crash that claimed the lives of her best friends and twin brother. She discovers her the answer to this mystery lies in her own “gift” and struggles to allow herself to love again. If you’d like to read the very rough first few chapters, click here.

  6. What is cheese doodle? Sounds interesting!

Good luck on your #1. 🙂

  7. Cheese doodle is cheese in a spray can. I may be the only person to call in “Cheese Doodle”, but it’s cheese, sort of, and you can draw with it… does that make me weird?… so “Cheese Doodle” seems to be a good name for it.

Of course, other people call Cheesy Poofs, cheese doodles… so maybe I’ll just start a new thing. I’m also the only one around here who calls a carbonated beverage a “soda”, deep-fried round pastries with a hole in the center “dog nuts”, and red tomato-y liquid you put on a hot dog (weeners, btw) “cat shit”.

That’s right, I put must turd and cat shit on my weener, sign my name on it with cheese doodle, and wash it down with a diet soda.

or Kool-Aid… which, by the way, is generic Crystal Light. :-))

  8. Good luck on getting your book published! 🙂
I love cheese, so I thought the name is a good one.

  9. How great that you have a goal to get a book published. My son is in high school and he is showing a big interest in writing. He doesn’t share his stories with any of us, but he can spend hours typing away at a story.

  10. Can I have a signed (free) copy of the book when it’s published please? You can dedicate it to the Mutant Pickle.

I read your other post and I still don’t know what a cheese doodle is. I’ll just let my imagination figure it out.

    Thanks for the visit 🙂

  11. Maybe “Doodle Cheese” would stop confusion with “Cheese Doodles.” I’m familiar with both products, and I’ll agree with you: you’re the only person I’ve ever heard of referring to “Easy Cheese” as “Cheese Doodle.” (Though your explanation does make sense.)

  12. I agree – coffee is best warm – I reheat it. mmm.
I see we’re both cheesy! It’s the best way to be. Thanks for stopping by.

  13. Love your #4! Good luck on the book! That is exciting!

  14. Cute answer for #4. Good luck getting your book published.

  15. #2 made me laugh and I quite agree with #4!

Hope you’re having a good weekend, thanks for playing 🙂

  16. I carry a little notepad and pen with me in my purse too. I use it a lot more than I thought I would. They sure come in handy. I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  17. Good luck with finishing your book and getting it published!
