And…here we go!
1. You have a chance to _run away and join the circus, but the kids won’t allow it_.
2. _I wish my kids would STOP FIGHTING_ right now!
3. There is a _paddle somewhere, but the kids keep hiding it from me_.
4. _Hire the Supernanny now_ and pay later.
5. It’s time to _go to the bus stop now, right? Ist it time yet? Please, God, can it be time now! Two-hour delays and school cancellations suck_.
6. _I’d get a rope, take each child to a different room, and suspend them_ up in the air but _that’s just too much work_.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to _watching some Stargate with Mags and working out what Sam wants for her birthday dinner_, tomorrow my plans include _lunch out with the kids, a trip to the library (it’s book sale weekend, WOOT!), and celebrating Sammi’s birthday_ and Sunday, I want to _have a good Sunday at church, the read a little and relax with the kids_!
Ah, peace and quiet. If only it would last!

I see that your answers have a theme. 🙂 I wish you the best of luck this weekend! Back home (Iowa), my high school hasn’t had school the entire week because of a nasty ice storm. Have a good weekend!!
*breathe… must breathe. Mustn’t let panic take over* A week? EEP! Do you have electricity? because I don’t think I could manage a week without electricity. Hope you get your January warm up right away!
WOW… Can I say “stressed out”? Sounds like you need a LONG vacation away from the kids. Enjoy your weekend.
I hope you have a great time at the book sale. My son is keeping me hopping right now too.
Guessing by the town listed by my live traffic feed, I assume that you are the one from Logansport? 🙂 And, yes, I go to Purdue. I’m originally from Iowa (near Omaha, NE), but decided to transfer here after I got my Associates. I love it; I am so glad that I came here, and I am looking forward to finishing school in Indiana.
Oh, LOL, that is HARD! Go do #4, like, now, already! 😉
Wishing you a really relaxing, peaceful, stress-free weekend.

Hilarious! I understand exactly where your coming from! LMAO

Again, you always make me laugh! I was always torn about snow days because I was a teacher for 10 years. Most of the time they were a good thing.
Speaking of good things…that suspending the children thing sounds pretty good! That’s one thing I never tried. One of the best punishments I got from my mom (she only did it once because she never knew just how effective it was) was when she made my brother and I sit facing each other and hold hands. We HATED each other as kids (love him now though) and beat the crap out of each other on a regular basis. That was a great punishment! Since it worked for us I used it on my kids and on my students in the PE classes I taught. After doing it once the threat of it was the best deterrent from then on. Maybe it can work for you too! I’m always happy to help a fellow stressed mom in need. 🙂
Happy birthday to Sammi and buy lots and lots of books! Have a wonderful weekend!
