PUSH Giveaway

It has been a long time since I’ve read a book that really spoke to me, inspired me and that I could really get behind and believe in.  Yeah, this book probably doesn’t need my help boosting it, but I HAVE TO SHARE IT.  And it’s been a long while since I had a giveaway here, and I’m dying to do another one.  So, here we go!

I want more people to read this book, so I’m giving away a copy of Push by Sapphire.

  2. I sent out a RT of your original tweet about the giveaway! @Bonnieredlady

  3. One novel that really inspired me was A Fine Balance – though it was depressing it was magnificent in its scope and immersed me in the struggles and hopes of its main characters.

  4. Many books have inspired me over the years, starting with Helen Keller’s biographies.

I’ve just read and commented on your Push review.

  5. I don’t think you’ll need my entry to make 50, but if you do please feel free to use it. I already read the book (twice) and will probably read it again. Looking forward to reading your review.

As for me, I found “Push” as powerful and moving as any novel I’ve ever read. I seldom cry anymore when reading, but this one moved me to tears and fury and hope all at once. Can’t wait to see the movie!

I’ll share your giveaway on Twitter and maybe FB, but no need to give me any extra entries.

  6. The Awakening by Kate Chopin.

  7. I’ve really been wanting to read this. So thanks for sharing it.

  9. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd has inspired me. I love her ease of writing style and her word choices.

  10. This sounds terrific! I’ve heard the best things about the movie but haven’t seen it yet. I look forward to both.

    – There are so many books that inspire me. When The Art of Racing in the Rain came out I got to participate in an online book club with the author for a month. The book was touching but having the author to chat with made it even better!

  11. A book that inspired me was “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch.

  12. I’m glad I read your review about the raw emotional power of Push. I find these kind of reviews more authentic than what I read from professional reviewers in newspapers and magazines.

  14. I want to read this book for so many reasons it will bore you to list them all! 🙂

  15. I want to read this book and eventually see the movie. If I win then I will read before seeing – usually a good idea. I can never think of books that inspire me, though. Really, I’m just drawing a blank…… Plenty have, but no titles are popping up at the moment! I retweeted, btw…

  16. I must be living under a rock, because I had not heard of this yet! But not that I have read your review I am quite interested in reading this. One of the recent books that has inspired me is the Gurnsey Literary and Potato peel society. Not as heavy a book, granted.
